What’s happening at the ILC

The International Linguistics Center is open for business.
Many office staff continue to work from home.

Visitors needing on-campus directions, coming for tours, or who want to see the main lobby can turn right after entering our property and park in the visitor lot. Follow the row of flags up to our front entrance.

Business hours visitors to Dallas International University can turn to the right after entering our property and follow the road around to the Pike parking lot. The administrative offices and the library are in the Pike Building.

For visits outside normal working hours, please make arrangements with the person you are visiting to meet you at the gate.

We have special rules for visitors to the Cowan Apartments:

  • Visitors are welcome inside Cowan from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM every day of the week.

  • Visitors arriving by car may use the gate call button during weekday business hours if directions to the Cowan apartments are needed. Visitors will need to coordinate with their host to meet them at the gate for visits in the evenings, on weekends, and holidays.

  • Masks are now optional for residents and staff.

  • Visitors must sign in at the front desk and should respect the mask preferences of their host while visiting in their apartment.

  • Cowan exterior doors are locked at all times, but there is a wall phone inside the glass vestibule with a telephone list where a visitor may call their host as needed.

Badge Hours

This is a basic schedule of badge access groups on campus. Note that it’s possible for people to be part of multiple groups. These do not include special cases and exceptions.

Contact the Welcome and Information Center to see about your badge access needs.
