What’s happening at the ILC

The International Linguistics Center is open for business.
Many office staff continue to work from home.

Visitors needing on-campus directions, coming for tours, or who want to see the main lobby can turn right after entering our property and park in the visitor lot. Follow the row of flags up to our front entrance.

Business hours visitors to Dallas International University can turn to the right after entering our property and follow the road around to the Pike parking lot. The administrative offices and the library are in the Pike Building.

For visits outside normal working hours, please make arrangements with the person you are visiting to meet you at the gate.

We have special rules for visitors to the Cowan Apartments:

• Cowan residents may welcome visitors any time they wish. We observe quiet hours from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am.

• Visitors must sign in at the clipboard at the front desk upon arrival.

• If you're planning to arrive after 5:00 pm, your host will need to make arrangements to get you through the vehicle gate. The host can request an access code from Cowan management a day before you arrive. Or you can park outside the gate and ask your host to come get you.

• Cowan exterior doors are locked at all times, but there is a wall phone inside the glass vestibule with a telephone list where a visitor may call their host.

• The Cowan’s management offices are open 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Walk-ins are welcome, but advance appointments are encouraged to ensure we have time to serve you well!
